Marcia….
Per Randy: Dog, that was good, really good
Per Ellen: You pack a lot of punch – it was inspiring – sign me up
Per Kara: I really felt you, you were believable
Per Simon: It’s probably one of the best promos I have seen in this season.
and…
per Dory: Big thumbs up! Captures the core and essence of Dream University and you, your terrific spirit.
Martha
Excellent! go with it!
Kathy
I would sign up!
Erin Sarika Delaney
This totally rocks! You SHINE – as do the participants. Who did this video promo? I want his name
Ken Hancherow
Well Done!
Inspiration is a lofty goal.
Barbara Davis
It was fabulous … Simon Cowell wouldn’t send you home
Ruth Klenk Janzik
I hope her presentation is better than her wardrobe. I’d like to nominate Marcia for “What Not To Wear’ I do think she needs some counseling on her professional image.
Janice Howard
Loved It! Go for It! Makes me want to know how to dream again.
Nora Peters
Love it. Yes, it moved me. Powerful. Short but sweet. Intriguing. It whets my appetite. It makes me want to learn more about the program. Congratulations. All the best to you.
Anna Kelley
I liked it. Made me what to sign up right away.
Sophia Bailey
I really enjoyed the trailer, definitely shows off a successful professional person with a fun personality. My favourite part, the dancing, made me wish I was there to join in. My least favourite, the testimonials at the end as they seem too staged. I have never met you or been on your courses but it does intrigue me to want to know more. Also, I am not a coach for a profession so the one it makes me think is will it be suitable for someone not in the coaching profession? You may lose a lot of your audience for that reason, unless your market is coaching coaches. I noticed some well known faces which add to the credibility. As I said before I don’t know much about you, I do wish you the best and look forward to attending an event on London in the future. Well done with the trailer!
Alberto Vogt
Hi Marcia, I just came back for DC Group Leader training and can’t wait to go back. Watching this video makes me realize how wonderful it is to be part of the Dream University community. People should not think twice about attending any of the events at Dream U. It will definitely transform their lives the same way it transformed mine.
Kelly
Outstanding! Moving and Inspiring! Leaves you wanting more.
Carol Mathias
Having been in that room in that experience many times before, I am blown away by the trailer. It made me homesick for the Dream University approach, connection to others, and life changing learning. The content was transparent, inspiring, and full on integrity. Excellent use of Marcia in all her charm, wisdom, and energy. Testimonies were honest and to the point. Great piece of intelligent work!
Alden Witte
Great video. It made me want to get involved.
Dawn Allen
Woohoo!
You go, baby!
It’s awesome and amazing… just like you
much, much love and big hugz,

I like it and most importantly having attended some of your training I would say it was a very “real” representation of what people can expect! Well done!
PeggyLee
LOVE THIS! Wouldn’t change a thing! It made my heart go pitter-patter because of knowing people who are in the video and knowing I was THERE!
Jacqui
I love the interaction that you have with everyone – specifically the touching in some way (as you “touch” our hearts with your words). I’m not saying that to be deep or corny, but I have not been a toucher except with my own family, but I see that it has a very meaningful impact. Seeing that you had been a bigger person yourself at one time makes you even more human and approachable, because you are real. Your energy and enthusiasm is catching and really comes through – those that gave testimonials caught it! I admire you for who you are and what you’ve come through to give us such hope. It is a strong and compelling video with a wonderful message. It does move me.
Greg Murzyn
Alot of good content…but a bit long for me. It started to become “soupy” to me. I think you would benefit from reducing it to about 2 minutes. Select your “Allstar” clips and run with it.
Kristi
I learned a few things about what Marcia’s about, and it was different than my perception, in a few ways….,
In my current place in my own self-induced Dream U, I’d say it was a “sign” that I finally had the time to watch this, and indeed that i was curious enough to watch ………
thought it was a little boring (sorry to be cruel callous and cutting, it’s all business, nothing personal – u asked for an honest opinion:))
but i am intrigued and inspired!
Veronica Peery
FANTASTIC-I really need to go back and read your book that i purcahsed at a Pampered Chef National Conference –many years ago.
Great and very inspirational video–got my heart going–just to go out and buy your lastest book.
WAHOO!!!!
Keep up the great work—we all need to dream and keep our dreams alive each and every day.
Annette Watz
Take a soothing breath… It’s FABULOUS, inspiring and totally YOU! Your heart leaps through the video and touches mine.
Latonya Patterson
Very inspiring! I would take a class.
Stacey
Good marketing
Chris Taylor
Marcia,
this is engaging, insightful and inspirational….all rolled into 3 beautiful moments. This video shows, speaks and breaths of your own true blessing. Thank you for finally putting this together.
Makes me want to jump up and do all of your courses again!
With love,
Chris T. (The Pause Expert)
Lisa Ferre
It was captivating and inspiring!!!
Mary McKay
Your trailer is excellent at demonstrating your style. I would like to see more people in the chair one-on-one with you as they’re actually having a realization or breakthrough. I most appreciate that you have shown individuals setting their intention as a result of the work.
michelle radomski
Marcia … I can see your warmth, passion and joy for life come through in every segments that you are in … so this is great. It is true branding, because it is WHO YOU ARE.
As a way of constructive feedback … the testimonials are a bit dry … everyone says things just like this on every promo.
As a suggestion … what about testimonials from people who attended dream university awhile ago and REALLY used the techniques to REALLY change their lives. That way it is not about what your course is GOING to do (which can be perceived as “hype-y”) but rather about what DOES happen. Real world success.
Karen McColloch
This is a great trailer–makes me feel excited about your program. You go girl!
David Meyer
Marcia,
It’s good. Does what you want. Inspires, uplifts, and motivates.
David Meyer
Lois Wesener
My honest reaction where the trailer could be better:
1. Too much dancing around – may not appeal to men.
2. It sounds like this is for life coaches – based on the testimonials.
Thanks for asking!
Chris Donofrio
It’s okay for me, Its really a lot of fluff and no meat. Give me some why and, how.
Vickie Turley
It made me want to know more. It seemed to be directed only to coaches – and maybe that is your intent. But if it’s not, you may want to make some changes so people understand you are reaching out to more than just coaches. I am not a coach per se so I wondered if I would be eligible for your class. But it was inspiring and I enjoyed the interaction – especially the dancing. That made me want to be in that class.
Jenice
Your video trailer was inspirational!
Shannon Rush-Call
Hi Marcia – I really like it. It makes me homesick for Dream Universtiy, and I just got back! One thing I might emphasize a bit more is the personal development in addition to the coaching skills available from the courses. I also loved the dialouge with Randi in her chair sharing her dream – another one of those would be cool. Thanks for asking for our opinion!
PS: I love your wardrobe.
Kim Kompel
Marcia! Love the trailer. Very inspirational….brings out the curiosity in me….to want to know more! Thank you!
Deanna Rodriguez
Without context, it’s okay. Knowing who your target audience is would help in an evaluation. Is this for coaches? The man on the street? Someone in between? I agree with Chris that it’s a bit fluffy.
Kathleen
Awesome! The video is great.
Wendy porter
To many testimonials not enough substance from Marcia. She’s the star and I want to hear more of her. 2/3rds Marcia, 1/3 testimonials. If I had never seen you before it’s not enough to move me into action and I think you’re great
Jaydee
Good marketing. Shows those able to pay can capitalize on their dreams and make money off others that they help. Where is the compassion to be of service to all people without the “money” reward. To me, it’s an agenda, I’ll help you if you can pay. We need to pay it forward.
Leslie Olson
One change: The music, it sounds too much like others and does not fit the UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF A MARCIA WIEDER EVENT.
WOWS:
*Every day I share with someone or remind myself of a gem I learned from Dream Univeristy et al.
*Participation in a Marcia Wieder event is life changing. For myself, I connected with my own core of an authentic, passionate and abundant LIFE!
*Something I had lost in my struggles to survive in the 21st century.
NOTE: Perhaps a little more ooomph in the “Invitation/enrollment” piece at the end: “For info see” didn’t do the work justice–>”Don’t miss out” “Live your live” “Be YOU and check out” Or something like this.
AND, I LOVE YOUR OUTFITS!
Cecil
Great! Very inspiring and convincing.
Laurel
Overall great! Visually, compositionally, I would have liked always to see space above the head, and no arms or heads cropped in any frame. I would have liked to hear from someone other than a coach on how it has impacted, or will impact, his or her career or business. This trailer captures the essence of who you are, the workshops you lead and the people you inspire. Thumbs 80% up!
Nancy
Well done! It is not too long. And, most importantly, it is inspiring.
Iwan
Go Girl! I can sense your Dream and burning Desire.
Paul Hoyt
I loved the energy of the trailer, but thought the narration should be redone. It seems contrived and scripted in contrast to the easy flowing, spontaneous content in the rest of the trailer. My suggestion: replace the narrator or have her do it again, from a place of easy-flowing joyfulness.
Great work!
Suzy Spivey
Fantastic overview of who you are and what you do! There’s a nice build, the tone is right on, and the inspiration grabs. Well done!!
Marinda Wilson
great quick informercial, i would love to be a motivational speaker,I’ve been told for many years that I have a great message for young women in need and who are hurting, my fear has been i lack the academic,as in a completedd degree thatI feel isneed to acomplish this, i would love your input

It would certainly make me curious enough to want to find out more. I used to have difficulty dreaming and coming from that perspective I think it would help me feel that maybe there was hope for me. BTW, Marcia, thanks again for the great training last week. My head is still spinning and I have started to move forward at a pace I never thought possible.
Rose
Awesome! This will peak a lot of interest and definately will inspire people to sign up. You have captured the ispiration many are looking for in just a few minutes and draw them to you like a magnet to want more.
Amy
That is an awesome video..it sparks something within me to attend.
Deb
I love it! Well done. It shows your fun, loving personality too! I can’t wait to attend in July! See you soon!
Wendy
Marcia, this was great. It was absolutely moving. . . so much so I am ready!
Jamie Thompson
I love it, Marcia! Great testimonials!
The only thing I noticed (and it may have just been my computer) was that I had to adjust the sound louder when you were speaking your parts. The other parts of the trailer were plenty loud enough with the music and those speaking, but when it switched to you, I found it to be a little too quiet and had to turn my sound up just for those portions.
Thanks for all you do!
Doug Sharpe
Hi, Marcia:
Congratulations on all that you have done in the past year toward refining “The Message” … and, adopting the “New Media”. Well done.
I suspect that I may be one of few (if any) that has a “critical” comment to share with you. I do so knowing you appreciate honesty and integrity.
If I were to edit your video, I would cut out the following:
55 seconds: 1:01 seconds; and, 01:52 to 01:56 (to me, 01:52 to 01:56 “cheapens” the message … a little too much of a “feel good” moment.
The first two mentioned feature you in a purple dress that simply does not do you justice. Further, it seems a bit “out-dated”.
One more comment, if you will kindly allow me to say so:
I feel the remark about your 14 books is pertinent … however, the “add-on” that they have been translated into many different languages seems to be a “bit much”.
Marcia, I admire you for all that you do in respect to “The Shift In Consciousness”. I applaud the steps that you have taken to share “The Message”.
I hope I have not offered any offense in my comments above.
One more thing: The people at “McAfee” have given you a “potential suspicious behavior” rating. I have “voted” for you in an area where they allow feedback. It that area they ask for comment by the website owner. You might wish to check it out.
In closing, Marcia, may I wish you:
All Best. All Ways. In Love.
As well as continued success.
Doug Sharpe

It was truly inspiring and left you wanting more!

I like it very much. The people in the video were in my training class for the most part. I was able to hear the excitement again. However, for me now, personally, I’m flat and have lost whatever energy I had around this. I’m listening to the sorrow and the pity within unfortunately. whether I bounce back is unknown. I need to identify and reach a dream of my own before I can coach anyone so I am beginning again. It is a daily struggle with no results as yet. Good to see and feel the genuine energy in this video; I think it rightly reflects what I experienced with Marcia. Thank you for sharing this.

love it!
two thumbs up
Keith
Testimonials are great, but would be better if persons mentioned specific ways that the coaching helped. Not enough “Zing” to push my buttons.
Paul
Sounds like ” sales pitch ” to me .
What are we getting ? I have no clue .
Sorry , but I hope you find it useful .
God bless .
PAMELA ECKHART
Marcia, That was an excellent video! Great Job! This is what came through, “you allowed this to be a positive video”. And so it was.
angela
You inspire me every day but watching this video reminds me of how much you truly touch people and help them to change their lives. Your workshops are transformational, fun, playful, serious, enlightening, moving, inspiring, honest and educational.
Jennie Gisslow
Looks great, thumbs up!

Who is this pretty angel, wings stretched prepared to take off on my screen? Great job!
Alana Lea
Marcia, It just makes me want to come back into the room you – and to tell everyone who’s afraid to live their dream that they can be surrounded by the community who will lift them up, and the coach who will not let them back away – if they join us in that room with you.
Great Fullness,
Alana
cari
It was well done – to attract people who are at the beginning level.
For me, it was too general – I wouldn’t say I’m an expert by any means, but I’ve read and listened to everything I can get my hands on. I’m reading Dr. Rao right now – and I like how his definition of reality is what you construct it to be.
In the video, you say are you committed to your dreams or your fear and reality.
That sounds like you must think our reality sucks. (And I never use that word.) I’m a former teacher, so I’m just coming from the standpoint of one of my students – sorry. Back to maturity – your students’ comments are too general. The only occupation I heard was ‘coach’ or ‘counselor’ – it seems like there are zillions of you flooding the market right now. I heard your initial video and I thought you were very convincing because you talked about your own situation and getting out of it. These testimonials sound like they could be for a used Chevy or a new kitchen gadget. I’m really trying to be helpful – give the people more!!!!
Ejan
Marcia, I thought it was excellent, not only the content, but the filming, editing and lighting. You are portrayed as warm, loving and caring and this speaks for itself. I am a missionary, just returned from many many years living and working in Africa, so at this time, my circumstances are a bit stretched financially to be able to go through or take any of your courses, but in the future, I would love to do so when it’s the right time, as well as would love to meet you. You’re a lovely person and it shows in your trailer. On the flip side of the coin, regarding the trailer, if you needed it shorter, it wouldn’t cut out the dynamic presentation whatsoever, I believe, if you edited it even a bit shorter, as the main thrust and essence IS there. Thanks for sharing it, and for seeking our comments. You’re lovely.
Wishing you the very best in your love, positive approach and work.
Ejan
Patti
You are radiant. The energy is warm and grounded, and I am opened and moved on a heart level which is a gift in itself.
As someone who has not attended a workshop and does not know your process it would help to see some golden bridges showing connection and grounding of dream inception to dream manifestation, otherwise the video remains “feel-good,” but tends not to reveal the “Real” shifts people make and how they make the leap, or take baby steps.
It appears that your video is for people who can already articulate their dreams, not for people for whom that step has not yet been realized. I suppose that is why your practice is called Dream University and not Dream Kindergarten.
Yes! to you, and to your unlimited success.
Beth Milwid
Hi Marcia,
It’s great — warm, inviting, inspiring. I love that you were able to capture your spark and wisdom and now have the chance to get them “out” into cyberspace.
I don’t know how far along you are in the editing process of this video, but, in case you’re still open to suggestions, here is one. . .
* The only concern I have is that by opening with the individuals you have chosen to speak on camera, you might be giving the impression that your services are mostly for people who have “had 20 years’ experience” or have “done coaching and counseling for 20 years,” etc.
* Even though I knew better, that was how I felt watching the video. At first, it wasn’t clear to me if Dream University was ALSO for people who hadn’t gone to seminars, workshops, etc. before.
* The video cleared up this concern pretty quickly, but you might want to consider opening with some other clip. For example, I found the comments from people at tables inside your workshop to be more compelling, and the shots of you asking questions of participants more engaging.
I hope this is helpful. If you are finished with all edit, no problem; what you have is excellent. I just don’t want anyone with a short attention span (and who doesn’t that include these days?!) to feel excluded at the outset and possibly turn off the video.
Thanks, Marcia, for all that you do. You are a true visionary and a practical East Coast girl to boot!
Best,
Beth
Barb Heenan
The testimonials were good, but were all about “coaching” – what if I do not want to be a coach?
It was inspirational and fun.
Rosario Rosas-Scorgie
I am excited to know that people are transformed by knowing how to develop something they already had within them. Coaching dreamers is a great job, and with it the passion of wanting the best of you for them. I like it and think it is a wonderful 3 min. intro, however I also would like to see key points being highlighted so people will want to know more and how to get it and wanting to be there! Right now!
Thanks for what you do and for maintaining your edge sharpen to continue to serve!

Marcia,
Congratulations upon making a promo piece. There are many elements that can be added to the positive message that is your intention.
I like the energy and your message.
The piece itself can be improved in a myriad of ways.
I can assist you in designing your on camera makeup. I have wanted to give you this as a gift, ever since I met you at the Arbonne convention in Las Vegas, years ago.
For the editing, my suggestion is that you use many more environments, not just a hotel/resort room. You have the footage, you just need to use it. Call Pixability in Cambridge, Ma. They will do a remarkable job for you in creating your Dream Promo.
I am impressed with their work. They were referred to me, by Jason Sadler, of http://www.Iwearyourshirt.com
Marcia, Congratuations upon your continued success.

I really liked the trailer. Felt it was moving and certainly I could identify myself as someone you were speaking to, who might benefit from your program. I’m definitely going to do some more reading up on you and your programs.
Andrea Medvitz-Wilson
Marcia,
I love it! It took me back to my training with you and inspired me all over again. I had fallen off the coaching train and fell back into creative directing/choreographing. The funny thing is,is that everyone I have worked with in the entertainment industry down to total strangers in Starbucks end up confiding in me as a safe place and comfort. I’m really having to reassess my situation and start listening to what the universe is telling me. This I’m sure has a lot to do with the training that you provided me. Thank you again and I hope this video inspires many others to a wonderful world of self discovery and the art and love of giving back.
Miss you,
Andrea Wilson-Medvitz
Regena Garrepy
I was smiling and had goosebumps. I love you and I am so happy and proud to be a graduate of Dream University. Can we add this to FB? I want to post it!
Lorraine Seeberg
It peaked my interest so I’d definitely go to the web site to find out more info. I love your enthusiasm.
Would have loved to hear/see some real dreams become reality from testimonials –with a variety of dreams represented – health, career, relationship, etc. These could be sprinkled throughout the video.
I felt it was slanted more to a coaching audience.
Terri Giammona
At the risk of sounding harsh, it sounded a little bland. You have so much more energy and charisma that did not translate. I agree with a previous comment, it was all about coaching. What if I wanted a dream that didn’t involve coaching.
Catharine Bramkamp
I liked the talking heads and the testimonials. This is not a fault of this specific trailer but what drives me crazy about trailers, ads, promotions for “changing everything” is the lack of Specifics. In the stories told, could one person say – I applied this piece of advice, took these three action steps and now I am fulfilled/rich/happy/thin. I know often we don’t have specifics to talk about, but one concrete example among the many vague congratulatory examples, would help – like your dream house story – specific.
Otherwise, the size and scope is well presented so the program looks big and popular!
Linda Tracy
OK, ready? This trailer is “standard issue” seen it a hundred times in a hundred ways. If you want to attract people who are willing to spend money you need to tell them what the results are. There are a lot of testimonials, but who are these people, what are their results from attending? Did they increase their business? By what percentage? What did they change and if they did, what happened? Also, the location looks uncomfortable and bland. Go somewhere that looks luxurious. You need some close ups of Marcia, in a business suit, looking accomplished and well off, talking to the camera, talking to us. I have no idea what you are trying to do. Sell books? Sell seminars? Sell coaching? Tell me, then tell me why.
Sandy
I think it’s great…like the testimonials, nicely woven into the video.
Alana Lea
PS Hope there will be a way to share the video on my blog and to Tweet the link!
Emma
it is indeed an inspirational testimony from your group !…I would love to be part of your Dream, maybe in the future once i have enough money to pay for the fee.
thank you very much, and more power to you Marcia.
Cheers!

azeem
Marcia,
very inspirational though the strip was of few minutes. Have come across very very few speakers like you while with Toast Masters.
Jan Cooper
Marcia,
It is a thumbs up! But, the benefits people gained need to be shared. Success stories need to be heard along with the kind words that are so deserving.
You made me think! Because you did that for me, one of my novels PATHWAYS TO PEACE
will be featured at the Convention Center in Sacramento Nov.12-15. Two of Californias largest library associations will be hosting this event.
You helped me to relax. I will not write another book for at least a year or more.
Thanks for being you! Many Hugs!
Jan
Stephanie J.
Dear Marcia,
I just watched the trailor twice! The first time I got goosebumps and a feeling of excited anticipation (I want to join!). The second time, I just kept smiling. Your energy and the energy of the groups you coach really comes through. Great music, good testimonials, excellent video.
Thankful to “know” you, and thinking it’s about time I find my dream.
Stephanie
Susanne Hemet
It’s not bad… the mention of “Jack” caught my attention. I had forgotten that you coached him and that carried some weight for me as a testimonial to you. However, the rest of it was… so-so. Not sure how to specifically make it better though. Sorry. All I can tell you is how it left me feeling, which is, mildly interested.
Joanne
Wow – really inspiring and shows the real you. High integrity.
Julia Neiman
That is fabulous Marcia. It’s very exciting and makes me feel like I want to be in that room experiencing all that high energy. Seems to me it’s the right mix between promotion, enrollment and engagement. I’m dreaming myself there.
Cheryl Healey
Hi Marcia,
I think the trailer is great! It’s inspiring, motivating and covers the personal as well as the professional all while touching on that which matters most to all of us – our dreams!
Thank you for being you and following your dreams so that all who need and find you and your teachings have a much better chance to create our own! The world needs our dreams made manifest!
With Love, Gratitude and Hugs,
Cheryl
Che Garner
I loved the trailer. it gave me goosebumps but left me wondering who is this directed to? what are you selling? it is for coaches, to be a coach? What is your audience? what would I an average person, that is not a coach get from taking your courses?
DON SCHLUTER "Elf OWL"
Way to go girl,cough Lady…LOL
Excellent you hita home run
Go with it.
PS I’m Making Sept. happen. Found a way to get a loan all I need now is do you have a home study of CDs that I could base off buying software to go with the training. This way I can get the loan for Dream University for Sept. Got a loan through these folks before for a 4×4.
Please let me know about home DVDS or Cds you have made.TY and again excellent video from one who know photography.

Like the beat, and I think others will dance to it. Testimonials are good, clear and not just flowery. I think seeing some of the “workshop” dynamic is good. If it were me, I would add a nuggest with the top 3 take aways from past students (delivered by you face to face with the camera). Something tangible. Ispire me to ACT now.
It feels real and I believe that is the biggest of all messages.
Cheryl Catherine Smith
I’m in agreement with Greg Murzyn, good content but too long, I lost interest at 1:04 – edit, edit, edit! :0) oxo

YEE-HAW, My Marcia! This is a powerful piece that offers up good information, testimonials, genuine inspiration… and the ask. Kudos. A+. All my stars!

I did not really understand the point you were trying to make. What action is the trailer supposed to convince me that I need to do now? Who is your target audience? Tell us the detailed results of participating in a session with you! This trailer seems frivolous. This is harsh – but I think that you need to hire a stylist and look approachable, but much more professional. Your look on camera needs to look polished, so that I will believe that your content will be meaningful and important to me. I also think that the venues do not look at all professional. I know you are fabulous Marcia, but I did not feel it at all in this trailer! You need to make a new audience of people seeing you for the first time (when they see this trailer) think that they should not go through their life without spending some of their precious time with you!
Mark
very nice video… it has made me think, deeply.
Betty Liedtke
Hi Marcia,
Wonderful! This shows your heart and enthusiasm, and your wonderful speaking style. VERY engaging. I am sure it will draw people in.
There were two spots where a tiny little red flag went up for me. One was the mention of you being on Oprah, etc, while the video continued showing scenes from your workshops/training. That gives it a feeling of “name-dropping.” Can a clip or shot of you with Oprah be dropped in there? I think that would give it much more punch and power. Also, at the mention of the books you’ve written, it would be nice to see a shot of just the books. By seeing you holding the books up (and obviously talking about them)I think some people will instinctively think, “Uh-oh. Sales pitch,” whereas a shot of just the books allows them to speak for themselves–and for you as an author rather than as a salesperson.
The only other thing wrong with the trailer is that I’m not in it.(;>)
Seriously, this is a GREAT video. Good luck!
Always, Betty
Lois Hobart
If I may offer a “part 2″ – I’ve trained twice with Marcia – and could have been one of those testimonials, in the same training environment. The video is TOTALLY authentic of who Marcia is, what the program is about and the people who attend. I first attended “DCU” – which is “Dream Coach University” as a life coach wanting a DC certification. Yes, MANY of the attendees were there seeking coaching on some level as a career. Yet others where there to take from it whatever they chose. It’s KIND of like life – you get what you give. And I cannot judge MARCIA based on a 3-minutes of video; she would not judge me or any of her attendees/students/colleagues. She has asked for feedback, yes, and my perception is that this video TOTALLY captures the essence of who Marcia is and what her program offers. IF enticed, DO go look at the website and get the specifics. If you’re ready to change your life, this program just might be your ticket.
Alison
I was intrigued, interested and a bit teary-eyed. I think if your audience is genuinely interested in acknowledging themselves and their dreams, they will be touched. Nicely done.
Katy
Good trailer in promoting Marcia! I like Marcia’s excitement and energy, although sometimes it seems to be exaggerated. In my opinion the video was not professionally developed. The voice quality was varied from one testimonial to another. Above all, it was mostly a testimonial video on coaching services. It was better if it was started off with a bit of background about the Dream University and then slightly injected the testimonials. People want to know what is in it for them. Just hearing good things about Marcia might not ignite the interest of people to roll up in her courses. Although I have enrolled in Marcia’s course and did all the exercises, I am still not satisfied with the value that it brought for me. I don’t think that I will enrol in any of Marcia’s future sessions, by watching great testimonials, just like this video!
Lisa Butler
Marcia,
I love it! Thanks for sharing! Who you are really shines in this video/message. Hearing from others validate the incredible work that you are doing. I plan to share with others. Keep up the excellent work of helping and serving others be dreamers!

Hello Marcia,
“American Idol” allows for one individual to attain their dreams in music per season. This trailer has been positive reinforcement to staying well-focused until one achieves those pertinent dreams.
Thank you.
Sarah Curtis
Wow Marcia!
That was great! Well Done!
Christine
Hi Marcia,
A powerful and inspiring video although it did not indicate how or what approach you may use to achieve your results.
Otherwise I loved the vitality and energy and it would inspire me to find out more about the programme.

It didn’t add value to the audiance. No specific results. It was all about Marcia!!

Great Marcia,
Inspirational, inviting, enrolling, and
clear about why you are present in the lives of others….Love it, Ike

I would come to your training anyday.
Just one question: You are already practicing your dream everyday – it seems to me. So, what is your dream now?
With love,

I think it’s a winner–it caused me to take a second look at you and what you do. I’m on a lot of mailing lists with similar bents and this video underscores your uniqueness.
Maryanne Huggins
Thank you, Marcia, for being an inspiration for me to not limit myself from dream-ing, but to set short term and long term goals, and my compass, then step forward into the next moment to be experienced – totally, whole-heartedly – stepping on, one at a time, moment by moment, day by day, relationship by relationship – heart to heart – encouraging others to do likewise in their unique way – today. Please, “Let’s get at it!

The trailer is lovely — captures your passion, is concise, works wonderfully well…..without weighing down on the specifics or details, one must pursue more! Perfect if you do want it to tease out more action!

Hi Marcia. I love it! Yes, it makes my heart beat faster…you get me excited every time I see you and hear you speak! Fantastic…once again!

PS. I’m one of your biggest fans!

Marcia, I LOVED your trailer! It does move me and encourages me to plan for the day when I am able to attend your Dream University. I did the 90 Days with you and found your spirit and genuineness to be very grounding and inspiring. One day I will be at this training!
Leslie Olson
Dear Marcia:
(I was interupted before.)
I thought about Anna, Brianna and Elizabeth and wondered “How about some younger folks” in the trailer? I find myself mentoring the dreams of the upcoming generations…I certainly wish I had been exposed to your teachings in my 20′s rather than my 40′s! I would have been affirmed instead of derailed.
The Marcia Wieder Dream Work CHANGED THE CORE OF MY LIFE! Not a coach or a coach, this work is a foundation for authentic, passionate, and abundant living. This video represents the bulleted highlights of any Marcia Wieder seminar–captures the essence AND jewels of the work.
I’d love for all 20 and 30-somethings to participate in Dream University programs!
Love and hugs always,
Leslie
Teena Miller
“I’M GOING TO ACT ON THAT!” was the last spoken statement on the video and very POWERFUL.
An excellent marketing video/tool. GO with it and prosper Marcia – I LIKE IT.
ACT ON IT!!!

It is really a very inspiring video. So good when it comes to the part of the results for every person.
Watching this just makes my heart beating faster and a big desire to do the same for the people of my country.
congratulations!

Fabulous! Clearly a woman on a mission! I’ve been sharing my cd’s from Marcia and one by one, people’s lives are being touched and moved towards their dreams.
Thank you Marcia for honoring your gifts and sharing them with the world!

Marcia,
I loved it. I’m inspired. Do you do workshops in the Bay Area of California?

Some good content, but overall was a “turnoff” for me…wouldn’t draw me into the course. It seems like much of the positive sentiments below are from those who “already know and love” Marcia, not from “newbies”. It just seemed to me to be very fluffy/flakey/hokey, and thus not reflective of the real “meat” behind your content, Marcia. It also seemed targeted at coaches who want to coach other people in the same stuff — so if that’s intentional, it hits the spot. Finally, I agree w/ the image consultant comment below — you’re a professional, beautiful woman, Marcia — and your image in several of the scenes included detract from that fact rather than affirm it…
I guess that’s my bottom line — I think it could be MUCH better!! More solid and content-rich and less “rah-rah, just think positively”…which is not the foundation of your message!
sonia lopez
I did love it and it brought my inspiration just watching it and seeing Marcia again!
Pat
It’s well produced, but the content is so vague I don’t know what it’s about. The video has to do with dreams and making dreams come true, but how? why? are there techniques to use? etc.
I know Marcia’s Making Your Dream’s Come True is full of good techniques, but none of that comes across in the video.
Bonnie Pura
Hi Marcia:
Glad to see your dreams materializing right before our eyes:*))
Answering your request, here are a few comments on the video; 1) this video conveys your special enthusiasm and movement; very important that you show this aspect,as your energy is unique! 2) I would like to be welcomed to Dream University as the video begins: that is, put my mind as ease by telling me where we’re headed, so I can continue listening with my heart. This could be accomplished by simply adding the words Welcome to Dream University into the “what do you really want” lead-in piece…3)Add your copyrighted “Dream University” after the website address at the end. 4) Add the script at the bottom of all statements spoken by non-native English speakers.
Here in this video, beat, testimonials and content are good AND effective in arousing interest.
Best of dreams…
Saunjean
Wow!!! I wish I was there.
Ann Marie
I know very little about you. The tape gives the impression you have helped many people make their dreams a reality and they love you for your sensitivity in helping them. I would have liked to see more information about exactly what you do….a sample.
Thanks!
Gwen
I think it was very inspiring. I had the pleasure to hear Marcia speak, here in Connecticut, and know there is more that could be added to draw people in. Over all it makes me want to hear more about Dream University.
Jill Fischer
loved it Marcia . . . I am a CPA and have been in the fashion industry in direct sales for the last 15 years after spending 12 years (some of them overlapping) in public accounting. I am dreaming again, starting my own business and the sky is the limit! Can’t wait to read your new book . . . and stay tuned for Jilly N Designs . . . coming soon!

I have to say one more thing. Don’t listen to the people who know you, listen to those who don’t. If you want to break out of the Bay area, you need to broaden your appeal. Get rid of the San Francisco “flower child” look it makes you look older and invest in a professional wardrobe. Go to a stylist and redo the hair and makeup. The only person who can get away with the casual, spiritual look is Wayne Dyer. You’re not there yet. Sit yourself down in front of the camera and talk to people. Put only a dark drape behind you, no distractions from your face at all. Be honest, be professional, your story is inspiring, I’ve read it. Let the talking heads tell their story, let them inspire us. Vary the shots by inserting a bit about the seminar, show a shot of the books, etc., And, forget when people say they hate the sales pitch. Everything is for sale, we know that. Tell us how you are going to help us and make us want to buy it. I spend most of my day working on marketing. I know what I’m talking about. End the video with a shot of the website address and stay there long enough for folks to write it down. It’s only three minutes, make them all count.
Joseann
Hi Marcia,
for me as an European, this type of American advertising generally causes feelings on “unease”. But even if I deduct my general scepticism, I feel something is missing in the trailer. One can see that the people like you and are agitated, but there is no results, only people saying that “this is going to improve or change their business”. So for now, I wouldn’t attend. I get the impression that I will probably learn some interesting things and get to know a few nice people, but what exactly is going to change or has changed for people, I can’t tell. To “dreamy” and “wobbly”, for my taste.
vicki johnson
I would like to bring your work to Chile, I am a serial entrepreneur, and want to teach..Would love to train with you, as sharing this would be incredible.

Pat Tepper
Yes, I liked the video – the responses from the people in your audience was very inspiring. I would like to learn more about your programs!
Trisha, Wailuku Hawaii
Aloha Marcia,
After listening to a recent webinar, I was intrigued by your message of dream coaching. I went to your website and spent some time there.
Your trailer does not inspire me. The declarations by attendees falls flat when it goes on past the first 33 seconds. It was you who was so inspirational in the webinar. Your vitality and vivaciousness came thru without a camera. I could tell you knew how to awaken the dream even in those who dare not dream.
I just recently realized that many of us were taught not to dream or desire. The very wanting was wrong. Needing was OK to a point, but wanting was bad. Many of us came from the parents of the depression era. “What do you want?” Such a difficult question to answer having been shamed for daring to even suggest there is a desire for more.
Blessings of peace and joy,
Trisha

Marcia – I am not sure what you were so nervous about in showing this. You can see and hear your passion of doing what you Love. What a concept !!!!!!!!
Marlene
I liked it! It did inspire me.Just trying to decide how much I really want to do since I am semi retired. One day I could do anything and then the next that little voice says “do you really want to do that?”
H
i was not motivated by the video to join.
Debbie Harika
Marcia;
This video is ok, but it doesnt really capture you. Your energy is so good and none of that came thru to me. You are so much more..this video would not inspire me to attend any of your workshops.

Lynnea Hagen
Hi Marcia,
Some of it was inspiring. Of course, I already feel inspired by and connected to you, but I would like to see more of you speaking directly to US, talking to US personally, and less of the group exercises that show what happens in the class. I think the testimonials and in-class feedback from participants was very effective. I would also like to see feedback from past participants as to how the work changed them and/or their businesses…i.e.: the bottom line.
Hugs,
Lynnea
Janet
It was a fun and fast moving video. Not really sure what action it would spur me to take though. What are you hoping your audience will do next? Sign up for coaching or sign up to be a coach?
Alison
There’s some great stuff here, but …
To me it appears contived as the speakers you have on at the start look ‘rehearsed and unnatural’
The bits I did like were the scenes of real-life training interaction – but not the people standing up and saying how wonderful you are – they look like actors.
What are you selling? You, Marcia Wieder? If so, then this clip probably does that, but personally, I would not be convinced that you hadn’t paid people to say nice things about you. You do show your expertise through clips of you on Oprah etc., but is that selling you or selling the idea that everyone can get on Oprah if they come to Dream University?
Are you selling your Dream University? If so, then there are some bits that do that – the training in action.
Are you selling your books? This seems to be a throw-in – let’s get it all in to give people everything – lack of focus.
I think it needs to show its purpose and have a clear message that shows what’s in it for your clients. Show your clients in their new roles with voiceover, rather than as talking heads, perhaps.
Currently the purpose appears to me to sell you and sing yourpraises. If that is your aim, then it’s OK. But don’t you want to show what’s in it for your clients and what problems it will solve for them so that you pull people toward it and get them champing at the bit to get some of that, please.
Mario
Hi Marcia
You have a glow about you and so much of positive energy radiating out of you.
The trailer coiuld have been more centered around you to give that feeling of assurance to your viewers rather than trying to prove your training. Everyone knows that your training is wonderful.
I just wish we had someone like you here in Australia
Keep up the good work and God Bless you
Love
Mario

Nice, clean neat trailer–really–smooth–however–I would have liked you to demo. how you actually transformed someone’s life–just for a few minutes–your video is beautiful–but is that your message to the world??

Perfect! Concise but not too much. This is a wonderful vehicle to use to get Marcia’s message out there!

Wow! Send this to Kym Yancey NOW! AND, loved that I saw my buddy Vernice Armour in the video!!!
Authentic, engaging, I want to go to camp!
Jan Gray
It was fine, however, it had a sameness about it with the same phrasing which is fine except it has been over used. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the presentation except it didn’t have that something new to grab you. For a first timer, fantastic, for a been around the block a few times, okay.
Michele Belisle
Marcia, you are such a delight and an incredible inspiration! Thank you so much for all that you do and all that you give! I LOVED the video!!!
Cassandra Rae
Hi Marcia ~
The most powerful parts were when you were speaking. That’s when I felt moved. The beauty of what you create is the authenticity and transparency of your own message and willingness to be vulnerable. I know that testimonials are important – and yet, I felt like it was a bit much. I say, have a video that’s just a collage of beautiful “Marcia moments”
Have fun creating ~
Cassandra

It was nice…not unlike any others out here. I think you are most likely and awesome coach. blessings

Pros: – content, message, very upbeat, inspirational.
Cons: – Video is blurry in places, and the lighting in some scenes is not good.
The opening title definitely grabbed me. I think a lot of people want to figure out what they want to do with the rest of their lives.
Bravo!
Cheryl Sylvester
Hi Marcia,
First, congratulations on stepping out of your comfort zone to move your own Dream forward.
I sense your passion, your intention, some of which comes across in the video – and – I feel the video is too formulaic as a sales pitch, and not authentic to your own personal brand. Maybe that’s the question you’re asking yourself, too?
Here’s what I see the video does for you… it does start to give potential clients a taste of the experience of working with you, dreaming with you.
Unfortunately, the formula style of the video makes you and your program feel undifferentiated.
As Billy Joel once said, ‘everybody has a dream – and this is my dream’ …
Marcia, as a brand coach, I would start with your dream – and how that connects with others dreams.
Best,
Cheryl

Loved it! I wanted to become a Dream Coach, even though I am not into coaching now. It made me believe that I can be anything I want to be.

Very real and authentic – a good combo of demonstrating what you do plus social proof. Like.

i am new to this whole process so i have have never seen any of your presentations or even heard you speak before. this was very inspiring! i want to come! how do i begin to get involved?

It was cute, sufficient enough to jump start my hidden dreamer into curiosity.
Nan
No Marcia, “you’re the best.” Well, I got shivers. So, why have I been signing up for this that and the other thing, when you clearly have what I want? I wish I could tell you that…it might be key. Lack of confidence. Lack of ideas. Stuck in a weekly paying JOB. Jeepers…I so want something different in my life, and dreaming feels so…dangerous. When I dream, I dream…BIG, and too many ideas. The end result, I never commit to one path. (or at least not these days…as I have, and failed several times in the past) So, I guess the reason I haven’t signed up with you already, is that I need a personal coach to help me get over these fears. But, if I felt ready, this video message would definitely push me over the edge. (oh, and I read that someone thought your wardrobe could use some help. Yeah, kind of…depending on who you are trying to attract. Being an old hippy, I loved that you were out there being yourself… beautifully and joyfully. That’s important to me. I’m already trying to be someone I’m not to ‘fit in’ to corporate cultural expectations. I want to get away from that. Wishing you well.
Tania
Very Cool seeing this. Seeing all the happy people inspired me to be more and more happy.
Linda C
I thought it was good, it makes me want to go and find out what my dream really is. If everyone followed there dream, the world would be a better place:)
Van
Hi ya Toots,
Great promo. I still follow much of what I learned your programs in the early 90s at American Express and of course the maintaining our friendship is not a bad thing.
My biggest dream is the pipeline – retirement from the corporate world. The strategy is working and the tactical actions are moving. Should complete around the time of your birthday.
Be well. Love, Van
Mardy
One of my main goals is to go to Dream University in USA.. I am in Australia but I do believe that I can make this dream a reality and just need to keep it as my main focus and yes this trailer is enough to inspire me to keep the dream alive..awesome Marcia…love your work and I have your cd’s and book
Leo Grant
I think your dream university is a great idea.
The trailer is very non-informational like many inspiritional book hawkers use to sell their books and courses which only sell their other books, seminars, dvd’s, and courses.
It is nice to be excited and inspired, but there is a need to be fruitful and accomplish something other than getting excited.
Ingrid
Marcia, I love you and I love your energy! This video DID move me, however, it didn’t really inspire me to the point of “that’s all I can think about”. Maybe it needs a little something more……….it’s still good, though.
Don Craig
Marcia, I enjoyed the PDF downloads and see from the trailer why they were as good as they were. I did find the trailer exciting. Maybe someday for me.
Thanks for sharing.

The first minute-and-a-half and the last 30 seconds were very effective. Good job!

Very well done! Lots of good testimonials, action shots and good “Energy”. Congrats!!

I think that this wonderful trailer showcases Marcia’s talents as a teacher and a coach and I enjoyed hearing the testimonials. My impression is that it is targeted toward professionals, coaches and appropriate for anyone involved in self development. Although I think the trailer is very good as it is, I also think that in order to clarify for those viewers unfamiliar with what Dream University does–I would have liked to have heard Marcia’s distinction of what a “dream” is on the outset so people don’t think it’s about analyzing our “dreams” we get from sleeping—but to make the distinction of what dream university will provide for the viewer. Other than that suggestion–I think it is a beautiful and effective trailer – thanks for sharing it!
Debora
Marcia,
Content is good!
examples are good!
diversity spoke!
overall pitch came through!
I am not sure I saw people talk of how it is over time. I got the come play with me to live your dream. You are great. Your Dream U is really comprehensive.
Alice
I think the videos of the workshop and the testimonials were good. The critique would be on the voice-over parts. It got very infomercial-like to me, even the way the music accompanied it. So, overall really good and positive. I’d just rethink that voice-over part, replacing it with something more honest-sounding.
Yolanda
I loved it. It inspires you and makes you think about your own dreams in such a short amount of time. Great job.
Kellie Frazier
Marcia by now you have what you need to make your trailor the best of the best. I think there was one minor thing missing. Me!
I spoke with your partner at Alex Mandossian’s TSS reunion and he thought my work would fit perfectly with you. If you have time to peek…I’m waiting for your call.
Two thumbs up on your trailor by the way and I agree with the voiceover comments. Nice job.

i sense that you’re really sincere and have so much to offer, but i really don’t like the commercial. when i see the sound bits from so-called ‘satisfied customers’ i tune out – completely. i would prefer to just hear what YOU have to say. then i can make my own judgement on how genuine you are. so sorry, but that’s how i truly feel.

Great job Marcia; but is there a vehicle where one could use to realize one’s dream?
I know you give great ideas on how to go after your dream – Dream with no vehicle perishes.

The video presents you in a very good way, a very positive and exciting image of you. But (why is there always a but???) I don’t feel that I really understand what Dream University is about and what it offers me. I guess I would like to know a few more details. Maybe a link for that???
Be blessed,

FABULOUS, EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC, AWESOME, INSPIRING.
Have I left out any other word?

The energy is amazing, highlights the joyful aspects of the process (my favorite part!) Would it be valuable to feature testimonials for the 1-year 2-years 3-years later? When I attend events I have the high, it’s the follow up that becomes so valuable to me. Is there continuity, accountability along with an event? Thanks for all you do Marcia I find such inspiration with your material, have enjoyed your message across several media. Cheers!
George Coe
Marcia: It strikes me as members of the choir speaking of the choirmaster. Been around for a long while and the trailer seems to be another pump them up piece. Knowing? your style, there is no contribution to the viewer which is different from your usual approach. The key is finding out what lights your personal inner fire. Perhaps a small discussion of this issue might be a grabber for the jaded. Be glad to discuss this with you personally if you so desire. 530-745-0306.
Liz Blumenthal
I think your video is gorgeous. Liz
Ann
Well done, great trailer, well explained.
karla sparger
It doesn’t move me to any action. It is just one more “coach” saying do your dream. Tell me more. Having these people say how great they think you are, is just that; more people saying nice things. Tell me more of what’s in it for me; what do I get out of it. The only item I do remember of the 3 minutes is when you talk with the woman asking if she wanted to make money doing her dream. That was good. Another idea would be to show me how I could define my dream. Many people do not have a clear idea of what that “aha” dream could be. Thanks for allowing me a few words
Jessica
Love, love, love it!! After watching it, I want to be there so bad I can taste it.
Lauralyn
This is a very exciting promo for Marcia Wieder. It is a lively pastiche of folks in a state of “symposium euphoria,” and Marcia’s outstanding ability to build rapport; I would use it to promote Marcia’s in-person special events coming to different venues.
I don’t think it is as powerful as it could be for Dream University because it doesn’t tell me WHAT Dream University’s is; WHO should enroll; what types of programs it offers; nor does it make me curious to find out.
The name, “University,” suggests degree programs and CEU’s. The fact that it’s preceded by the word, “Dream,” needs to be explained in a way that invites me to sample some course offerings.
Without catching sight of Marcia’s particular vision of what a Dream University is, it evokes a Harry Potter-ish playfulness that’s fantasy-focused.
If the purpose of the video is to introduce potential students to Dream University, I would recommend starting over and letting Marcia open it (VO or on camera) with a provocative question/invitation that tackles the core questions: WHAT is Dream University and WHY should I care.
The scenes of various seminar group moments are almost generic. The snippets of actual interactions are not given a context – is this part of a vocational training event or a personal human potential weekend?
As someone who’s life was positively changed by Marcia Wieder’s coaching and her transformative Dream Coach certification programs, I want to see this next developmental stage of her work
take Dream Coaching to ever-widening circles of populations.
Faithfully,
Lauralyn

I liked the promo Marcia & I could see clearly that the idea was to let the people who attended Dream University to talk about the many benefits which they received. Still I would have like to see a personal appeal from you at the end of the promo.
David Sunnarborg
I agree with Lauralyn’s comments

My two cents (for what it’s worth):
I concur with some of the critiques that the trailer is rather salesy. In fact it is sales copy in video form. If that is your intention then run with it.
However, as echoed by some observers there are some things left out.
What is Dream University? Define it, describe it and delineate it.
Who should attend? (Video clips appropo. here)
What is the call to action?
You started out with a question: What do you really want? Is that your (Marcia’s) signature question?
Let me suggest a quote that may be of interest to you that I think would have been good to include at the outset in the trailer: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the [your] safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”–Mark Twain
It hope this is constructive in building your DREAM Trailer.
In any case, at the end of the day it is your DREAM, just make sure you can live with it.

Dear Marcia,
I watched the short trailer several times. OK, here is my opinion (all done with lots of love). The beginning was great: the question and the graphics -great start and the people confirming what they’ve successfully done both in the Dream University and becoming a Dream Coach is insightful. When the lady speaks about what you are doing and you are walking in the room wearing a beautiful maroon top – and the voice is talking about you it should end with the words ending in “is leading a dream movement. ” (that was all very clear) however it gets confusing after that.
(What are you trying to sell? If it is to become a dream coach, it died when you asked the lady (at the end of the clip) if she wanted to become a dream coach and how much money she could make – the energy level was almost gone? It looked like you danced so much that you were exhausted. I loved the dancing, the energy was great. However, people talking, the room was a bit dark, and the theme was choppy going from one thing to another very quickly without much clear content and not really a “theme” Where are all your amazing words that I heard throughout the Dream Course? Every time you spoke I was inspired! Where’s that? How about once the “opening finishes” the camera pans to you are sitting on a stool with a beautiful backround maybe a white wall with lights very subtly changing to soft colors greenery, flowers – soft music or make it a sun drenched room with green plants show a window in the background to see the beautiful outdoors birds singing it’s Spring! Talk about what you do how you’ve inspired so many. The inspiration it creates. What’s the importance in that? That’s what needs to be brought out. Toward the end have people come into the room one at a time to agree with you and add a quicky about their dream or inspiration ( a result) then gather around you camera fade to black (like the opening of the clip) and put up a graphic like shooting stars caught in a jar in the backround the noise will be all of you laughing and giggling lightly and the graphic should say something like “dreams are partly made from honoring ourselves” . . . then camera back to you by yourself saying “join us on our journey and bring your dreams” or something like that.
All done with lots and lots of love.

The physical time that it took to down- load and the places it downloaded made the presentation very choppy and I was very distracted by it.
The presentors and Ms Weidner were very believable and I had the impression that Marcia was very good at presentation of her dream and that she was very excited about what she was teaching. In reading some of the comments it seems that those who had interacted with Marcia understood what those of us were unable to have personal experience with Marcia could not.
Deborah White
Marcia this is really fun to watch you connect on a personal level to each and every one that comes in contact with you. Way to go, this is great!
Marcella Helwig
I liked your spots in the traler Marcia but felt some of the other speakers needed more energy, a few of the men were very hard to understand, due to accent or very low volumn. I think we need more energy overall,
Linda
Now that is one “big-heart” experience! The clips chosen cover a wide range of things Dream University delivers in a very real and compelling manner. From my perspective, you are on the right track. Go Marcia go!
Evelyn
For the most part, a pretty good balance between testimonials and seeing you in action, with some info (shows, books, link). However, the in-class comments about how great you are, your intuition, etc. did not add anything to inform or inspire me to join. Also, too much emphasis on dream coaches–what about “ordinary” people? Is it only about making more money (for what you love)? As for your clothes–wear what you want, continue to be who you are! Your genuine warmth & caring come through.
Anita
Hi Marcia,
I came, I saw and my thoughts are as follows:
1, are you trying to enroll the ‘life coaching’ community or do you want to attract a wider audience?
2, starting the clip with tesimonials, made it feel a bit contrived & ‘infomercial’ish’.
3, the clips of you in action speaking work really well – have you thought of doing a ‘to camera’ intro?
4,The gushing ‘what a wonderful person you are’ came across to me as a ‘caught in the moment’ euphorism that is seen at many seminars – sorry, doesn’t rock my boat.
My suggestion would be to ‘tighten up’ the message, clarify your intentions & get more smiling people!
Good luck, sweet dreams

Him Marcia,
Well I was left a bit doubtful about what you were marketing here. I have not done one of your seminars, and this would not have inspired me to do so. I think you need to focus more on what you cover, how you achieved it your self and how you can inspire others to do this. I know you don’t want to give away all your secrets, and I respect that but this infomercial does not make me want to sign up. Sorry for the brutal but honest opinion. Kind regards Jo

Hi Marcia,
Very brave! You came across really well, inspiring and motivational-as a brit I found it a little happy clappy for the UK-What is the product? What do you want people to do as a response to this?Who is your target?
Hope this helps.

Professor Wieder,
If I had not experienced the 3 month
session, and grew beyond my wildest dreams, than I could not comment on this well produced piece.
Knowing a few coaches in the video I heard them rave about there extended
coach traning. What moved me is your flow of emotions and profound intutive teachings with such clarity. The way you read people is uncanny.
When you laugh, everyone seems to laugh with you and most important, this is your passion.
Heartfelt and effective trailer.
rosalyn Bristow
Loved it got me real stirred especially watching you Marcia working with people real exciting,
Stacey
Very inspirational and moving.
Susan
I enjoyed the video and I think if anything were to be added it would be a partial outline of the course rather than presenting a lecture type format. Was this just to learn about coaching? Are there other courses? or does this seminar cover both? Your presentation is very warm and open – I was just thinking of the target market -if it’s new people they need to hear that dreams are real and they change lives! This seemed to go towards coaching
Connie Reed
Great trailer! Very inspiring.
Rhonda Neely
It was inspiring, got me interested and wanting to know more. I very much enjoyed your trailer.

Maybe I’ve been around these types of promos too much. Maybe I’ve written and produced too many of them. But, I agree with Greg … it’s a bit too long. There are some interesting thoughts in here. However, they seem to be belabored. And, as a guy, I’m not sure the scenes with the ‘class’ of nearly all women dancing and frolicking trips my trigger.
Still, do I want to realize my dreams? Sure! How many steps are there? What will you help me with? How many others have you helped? Where are they now? Did they reach their goals, realize their dreams? Too many unanswered questions.
I did think, though, that the production values were great. And, it was nice seeing Marcia in person.
Susan Harrow
Marcia,
You’re brave to ask for the feedback.
I would have liked to see a few details about your program and skip the dancing scene. The testimonials were the most convincing but would be even more so if connected with you explaining details. Make it more about the program and the results rather than about you. You have done great work, but now put the emphasis on including the participant.
Keep dreaming and believing!

Marcia, it doesn’t do you justice. I personally was not moved. I did not respond to the music, the voice-over “voice” and I found your wardrobe inconsistent and distracting.
If you want free/fun – then the flowing skirt, etc. works but the black jacket/pants does not (it was like you were hiding in it).
If you want more of a corp. feel, then none of the wardrobe included, fits.
Love you and what you do; just didn’t love this.
Hugs,
Leslie

I loved it about half-way thru – up to the table testamonial comments & dancing. It got a little too “female” for awhile. My preference would be to shorten it slightly.
How exciting to be taking this step.
Leslee
Giddy up, let’s go!
sign me up!
Ron Mottern
Hi Marcia,
I hope that I can be constructive with my comments and help out.
Everyday I am bombarded with videos that introduce products, programs, etc. I find that I click on the videos whose first 5 seconds introduce, “What’s in it for me”. The next minutes introduce the product with benefits in mind, followed by testimonials, and then highlighting the speaker, coach, or the main person in the company.
I find your trailer lacking in these respects and a lot of people would bypass your video as time is short. I almost did. But out of respect for you, I viewed it.
You might want to think of starting out with logo, then text, combined with a nice flowing audio message, then follow into testimonials. You might get a better click thru rate using this. You might even want to play around or split test different videos.
As to signing up with this video in mind, I wouldn’t as I saw no benefit for me, or cloudy at the most, and I’m sure others would think the same.
Again, I hope this helps and these are only my observations and experiences using videos.
Sincerely,
Ron Mottern
P.S. Keep up the good work!
Sandy
Very inspirational and realistic…the participants were a great addition as well…you are an excellent speaker that walks the walk….Keep it up.

I love the trailer – it starts a bit slow but after that it is really inspiring

I love this trailer because it demonstrates the essence of YOU, your energy, your coaching magic and your commitment to othesr. Good job, dear one.

Hi Marcia,
I really enjoyed the trailer. It highlights the quintessential you – a shining light, laser focused, a huge heart and a delightful and dynamic force to be reckoned with. As the leader of Dream Movement and Dream University you rock!

Marcia … This is fabulous! A wonderful testimonial of you and your inspiring, positive energy. The video does a great job of weaving together snippets of your workshops with authentic testimonials of participants. What would make this an even more powerful sales tool is if you gave a clear description of what Dream University is, and who is it targeted to. Bravo!

Marcia,
I liked the video although I think it lacks of substance. I have been in one of your workshop, not at the dream university yet. Would this video inspire me to attend the university ? I do not think so. The message is not strong enough. What I have learned in a workshop in a week end was tremendous, so I can imagine what people can learn coming to the university. The video is too weak for the level of the education we get.
We need to understand what the university is about, and the benefit of it in a more explicit way. The energy is great though.
Marcia you are a wonderful lady, and I thank you for your good work.
Carol Lynn Fletcher
Hi Marcia,

Very well done in general. A couple of points to improve. 1. Reduce the total time to 2 min as an intro; people are impatient these days. 2. Get into a few more specific items; things you cover or about the testimonials. What are the individuals specifically gaining.
Enjoy, Paul
Bo Bradley
Overall – Very good. (constructive)Some felt a little canned (too commercially for me). More testimonal on what changes it really has done in lives and more enrollment needed from Marcia. Even tho I know it – don’t fully get the why you’re doing what you’re doing.
(Compliment) Love the enthusiasm that shines through and definitely get your sparkling personality.
Starr Potts
Loved seeing you in action as I will be attending in July. Really helped me feel even more excited and quite comfortable. Very effervescent! Love your passion!
I agree a few more clips showing you working with people 1:1 would be helpful. Appreciated the diversity of participants interviewed and young people would be a nice addition. I loved hearing that experienced coaches and lecturers found it valuable as it adds another dimension of credibility and put me at ease. However for some not at that level, more statements from novices would be a useful balance.
With all that, if you do nothing further with it, its still a great promo as is.
Birgitta Dahlberg
The trailer made me curious! It makes me want to find out more about your work in general, and of course about the Dream University.

Your enthusiasm is visible even without sound. That makes me interested in meeting you in person – that kind of energy multiplies with contact. I do think you might be a bit more specific that it’s not only for coaches. Don’t really think that came across clearly. Keep up the good work! Lots of us out here dreaming good dreams and working to make them happen.

Wow!! This is a powerful video! Yes, it does bring tears to my eyes and desires to my heart! You rock, Marcia! Love and Light, Krystine

When I read that someone had cried after watching it and another who had watched it twice, I thought “wow, I really have to see this!”
Then, I watched it and frankly, was disappointed. It looked like a standard sales pitch that does a great job of trying to sell you something without telling you what you’re buying and how it will benefit you.
Then, I read more of the comments from the people who were brutally honest and it looks like 230 of the comments were from friends, family, neighbors, and clients who had been asked to watch and post a comment to the site so that the “look, we got 200 comments in 10 minutes!” results would be high. The ones that were honest were right on.
In this day and age of social and digital media, we have to remember that our customers now have the power to BE the media, and if we’re not authentic (or it looks to them like we’re not–same difference) then we lose out on a lot more than a potential sale.
Jacqui
I am a relatively new entrepreneur/life coach and was inspired by the publications and so I decided to become an affiliate. Marsha you continue to inspire me to reach my dream!

Marcia,
I enjoyed the trailer very much; hope to see you in person someday SOON!

Dear Marcia, you have convinced me earlier
about your motivational gifts and your desire to train people to get to know themselves in order to attain their dreams, I just wish I can become one of your students soon as I live in Europe and the truth I am short of cash flow.
Blessings to you and your cause.

I enjoyed viewing your enthusiasm and effervescent (?) personality. Maybe a little over the top but think that if I was in your workshop I might hve grown accustomed to it and have a different opinion. We could all stand to be excited in a positive way.
David
Basic energy & enthusiasm are great, but
first 4 testimonials are ALL coaches; as a writer/marketer, I felt doubt–is this the right program for me ??
Too vague on benefits, please include more specific outcomes: my business grew X $ or %; book published & X copies sold, etc. AND/OR, how a client’s feelings & outlook were changed to ENABLE success.
Marcia, your style & persona did impress me,…but I hesitated to sign up now.
1. I DREAD dancing/group movement. 2.) It seems mostly for & about women, so I felt “left out.” Unfair, I know, but honest.
BUT I love what you do, I love your image & wisdom…I just need more convincing b4 I’d send a big check & take a class.
God bless you for the sacred work you do, helping others grow.
Jackie
Gotta tell you this does not inspire me at all. In fact, I am a bit disappointed. To me it lacks the energy that I have seen in some of your other videos that actually inspired me. This does seem like a sales pitch and the people giving testimony don’t really seem all that enthused about it. Quite frankly I kept thinking that it was boring and why would you even want our opinion which made me wonder if you’re not feeling confident or enthused about what you do and therefore making me feel very hesitant about even considering attending any of your workshops or seminars. Also, the video quality appears rather poor and not so professional. Yeah, not getting a good feeling on this one.
Sally Sherwood
Marcia,
Very powerful. your training has solidified what I am working towards today and the training you gave me continues to impact my personal and business life. The mind-set that I am developing is a deeper reflection of what you taught me. I am growing more each day and this video clip is a reminder to the power you are passing on and that I am holding onto with both hands and one heart.
Thank you again,
Sally
Rusty Scott
A bit long. The dancing looks liked fun. Would like the testimonials to say more about the results.
Stacy
The trailer is a bit long. I’d also like it to contain more content (why, how) vs. just the dancing and everyone having a great time clips. The testimonials were great and added a lot of credibility. I also hope the actual workshops contain deeper content since only basic level training was presented.
jane
Really loved the video. Really inspiring.
